Fiber bed Filter for Asphalt Roofing Plants

In Uncategorized by airclear

The asphalt roofing manufacturing process yields products that are indispensable to modern society — namely, the shingles that cover the roofs of our homes and businesses and shelter them from the elements. It does, however, result in the generation of hazardous air pollutants (HAPs) that dirty the air if left unmitigated. These HAPs are volatilized during asphalt processing because they are heated and agitated, and because of the oxidation reactions that occur in the blowing …

Food Processing Emissions Control

In Uncategorized by airclear

Air Clear has extensive experience in Food Processing emissions control. We have Air Pollution Control (APC) Systems on several various processes and recommend various APC technologies for different applications. Coffee Roasters The roasting of coffee beans results in the emission of particulate matter, volatile organic compounds, organic acids, and natural gas combustion products. Green coffee beans contain a wide variety of chemical compounds including proteins, fats, sugars, dextrin, cellulose, caffeine, and organic acids. Some of …

RTO with Zero Fuel Use

In Uncategorized by airclear

Air Clear engineers designed, fabricated and installed a two-chamber RTO with a hot bypass system, counter flow air-to-air heat exchangers, and an ambient air dilution valve.  The emission requirements were successfully met; exceeding 98% DRE (Destruction and Removal Efficiency) while producing approximately 7,900 SCFM of 375-400°F pre-heated ambient air for the drying/curing oven. The DRE (Destruction and Removal Efficiency) is monitored by two FID monitors placed at the inlet and outlet of the RTO. The LEL (Lower Explosive …

Fiber bed Filters – Asphalt Emissions

Air Clear specializes in Industrial Asphalt Emissions Control. We have over 30 years of experience in controlling the emissions from Asphalt Processing Plants, such as Saturators; Coaters; Tank Vents; Loading Stations. We have Air Pollution Control Systems in operation on many of the major Asphalt Roofing manufacturers production lines.  Asphalt process exhaust contains a variety of particle sizes ranging from submicron and larger, and the objective is to control the opacity and associated odor resulting from …

Controlling Textile Tenter Frame Emissions

In Uncategorized by airclear

Air Clear Fiberbed Mist Collector Systems offer the most advanced technology available, all targeted towards improving your bottom line.  Whether you have a single Tenter Frame, also referred to as Stenter Frame, or an entire facility of Tenter Frames, Air Clear has the optimum solution! Textile manufacturing emissions inherently creates visible fume emissions due to vaporization of light fractions from the hot Tenter Frame ovens process exhaust. These hydrocarbons condense, causing the “smoke” or “blue …
